This privacy policy describes how personal information is processed by Bower, a service offered at https://www.getbower.com/, https://www.business.getbower.com/ and in related mobile applications (“Service” / “Services”). The services are provided by Sugi Group AB, org nr 559009-0378. When using our services you offer your consent for us to process your personal data according to the procedures outlined in this policy.
When you use our services, you entrust us with your information. Here we will explain what data we collect, why we collect it and what we use it for. This is important. We hope you’ll read this policy carefully.
To make our service more relevant, we collect data about our users. By using historical user data and behaviour patterns we can provide a more personalised experience.
We provide our service via unique user accounts created in the Bower app.
If you choose to create your account with your email as the login method, we will ask for your email address and you will have to choose a password. We may ask for your age. If you instead choose to log in with a third party application (such as Facebook, Google or Apple), you agree we will collect authentication information such as your username and encrypted credentials. We may also collect other information available through that third party account such as your name, profile image, country, email address, date of birth, and gender. Profile images saved via third party applications will not be saved by us; they will be loaded from those third party applications directly.
In order to claim some rewards, you will need to provide and verify your email address and phone number.
When you use Bower, we collect your location and how you use the app. You also have the option to volunteer to add more information in your profiler for better custom offers.
We neither sell, share or trade any individual personal information about our users to third parties without your permission.
We may share aggregated data with other companies. For example, we might tell a company how many Bower users scan their products.
By connecting your personal Facebook account you can share content from Bower to Facebook. The information we access in this connection is the information Facebook considers to be “publicly available information” or “public account information” (https://developers.facebook.com/policy). We do this to show your name and image in the app.
We send push notifications to users who accept this feature. You can turn it off at any time and the app will still work.
Our website uses cookies. These are only used to store anonymous domain-internal data that we use to optimise and improve our website.
Bower complies with its obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by keeping personal data up to date; by storing and destroying it securely; by not collecting or retaining excessive amounts of data; by protecting personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure and by ensuring that appropriate technical measures are in place to protect personal data.
