Hey lovely hairdressers! Now's your chance to join Wella's internal recycling challenge - and it's easier than you think. Together with the recycling app Bower, we're making it simple (and fun!) to recycle your empty Wella packages and tubes, and win amazing prizes while doing it.
When? May 8 – June 1, 2025
What's this all about? You use Wella products every day. Our color tubes are made from 100% recycled aluminum, saving 700 tons of virgin aluminum. The Wella Care range uses 80% recycled plastic. Our goal is for 80% of packaging to be recyclable, reusable, or refillable by 2025, and 100% by 2030.
By scanning and recycling your empty Wella packaging and tubes in the Bower app, you'll track your impact, enter to win exclusive Wella prizes, and earn rewards from Bower.
What can I win? The 20 hairdressers with the highest recycling scores by the end of May will win:
Complete the signup form. Fill in your name, email, salon name, and address.
Download the app. Once you've finished the form, you will be redirected to a page where you can download the Bower app.
Register your Bower account using the same email you used in the form.
Start recycling your Wella empties. Scan barcodes on cartons and plastic bottles, or take a photo of empty color tubes.
Recycle properly. Choose your recycling location, separate caps and lids, confirm your location, and recycle.
Track your progress on the leaderboard in the app — updated weekly!
